Julia Bonavita is a Canadian artist born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario. She is a fourth-year student in the Art & Art History program at University of Toronto Mississauga, and Sheridan College in Oakville. She specializes in photography and drawing with an interest in sculpture and video as well. She has received a photography award from her program and a volunteer award for helping to curate the third-year art show at the Women’s Art Association of Canada.
Julia creates art that is centred around her desire to produce works that change how we perceive mundane subject matter; diving into the sphere of the weird and possibly even the uncomfortable.
