Familiar Faces is a combination of 12 blue ball point ink drawings and red ink and marker drawings on sketch book paper. The blue drawings are inspired by my interest in scary stories and folklore, mixed with my imaginings of busted monster faces from my imagination. The red ink drawings on the other hand were done in the dark, resulting in an unplanned image that is reminiscent of a nightmare. I kept each drawing on sketchbook paper to further the notion of these beings coming from my thoughts. For choice of materials I chose utensils that I am comfortable with and are easily buildable. The drawings are to be exhibited on a table top or in a bound book; like where they came from.
